Do you want to participate in a beginner-friendly all-girls/nonbinary math competition? 💗 Look no further! The LA/OC and DFW chapters of INTEGIRLS are hosting a 🍁Fall Competition, and we’d love for you to sign up. You’ll get the chance to meet other girls who love math just as much as you do, and at the same time earn prizes for your achievements! There’s an individual round, a team round, and a super fun estimathon round. ⭐️
What is INTEGIRLS?: We are a nonprofit that aims to bridge the gender gap in math, and we hold two competitions every year. On our Instagrams, we also engage our community by sharing weekly posts to highlight cool mathematical theorems and the achievements of diverse figures in STEM. Make sure to follow our account for updates (@integirls.la and @dfw.integirls)!
⏳When: November 23rd, 9:45 AM to 2:30 PM (PST)
📍Where: Online, on Zoom
🧍Who: Middle and high school students who are girls or nonbinary
Teams of up to four members are allowed, but if you do not have a team of 4 members, you can still sign up!
If you do not have enough people on your team OR are competing alone and would like to be paired up with others for the team round, we can make that happen!
In addition to becoming a part of our INTEGIRLS community, you will get the chance to win a bunch of cool prizes through this competition!
We have a total of over $1000 worth of prizes, from our sponsorships like Art of Problem Solving, TheBeautyofMath, Interview Cake, and much more.
Note: You cannot participate in this contest and another Fall INTEGIRLS competition for a chapter that does not write their own problems (exceptions include Indy INTEGIRLS and Bay Area INTEGIRLS).
